Our Agarwood Tree
Agarwood formation is an art of time. What we do is protect its possibility — with science and patience.
In nature, it often takes decades for an agarwood tree to naturally produce resin. At Agartana, we use science and long-term care to help your tree begin yielding its first precious agarwood as early as Year 5. Even more importantly — we plant only the rarest and most aromatic species: Ky Nam (Aquilaria Crassna), revered throughout history as the "King of Fragrances," and cherished by emperors, scholars, and connoisseurs alike.
Compared to regular agarwood, Ky Nam offers a sweeter, more refined aroma with complex layers of scent. With proper stimulation techniques, it also produces resin faster and with greater consistency.Based on our estimates, a healthy Guardian Tree can yield between 800g and 2kg of natural resin starting in Year 5 — a gift from nature, shaped by time, and nurtured with care.
